2012 North Carolina Child Care Workforce Study

Through funding from the Division of Child Development and Early Education, through a Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge Grant, Early Years conducted a statewide survey of the early care and education workforce in North Carolina from September 2012 through February 2013. This study provides comprehensive data on teachers, assistant teachers and directors in early care and education centers and family child care providers and on the licensed early care and education programs in which they work.
